Your mission 

Help us build cloud software that makes laboratory automation smarter, easier, and more accessible. You will develop scalable digital solutions for our instruments and applications, improving how researchers access data, workflows, and results.

Working in a cross-functional team with software, verification, usability, regulatory, and quality experts, you will contribute to high-quality cloud solutions in a regulated environment. You will also help explore and implement AI-powered capabilities that enhance user experience, automation, and data-driven insights.

What you bring 

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience developing cloud-native software or distributed web applications
• Expertise in Software Architecture of Cloud-Based Solutions and Data Engineering
• Good knowledge of at least one major cloud platform such as Azure or AWS
• Programming skills (several years) in languages such as C# (must have), Java, Python or TypeScript
• Experience with APIs, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
• Interest or experience in AI-enabled software features**, data-driven applications, or intelligent automation
• Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus

• Create the architecture to support our team to build, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-based software services
• Design secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions for digital lab applications
• Contribute to AI capability development such as intelligent automation, data analysis, or enhanced user workflows
• Improve development processes through automation, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver compliant, user-focused software in a regulated environment
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization of our cloud applications for performance and efficiency
