Your role

As Team Lead of our Cloud Engineering team, you will lead a group of Cloud and DevOps engineers while working closely with the Product Owner, Architect, stakeholders, and other technical teams. You possess an expert level of proficiency in technology and architecture in Cloud solutions, the ability to translate high-level business requirements into technology execution, and the people skills to manage a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach, and grow an efficient team of Cloud and DevOps engineers, setting clear goals and supporting their professional development.
• Ensure technical quality, stability, and maintainability within the team.
• Own the team's deliverables and be accountable for identifying and managing technical debt and trade-offs.
• Understand the product end-to-end, including user needs, business goals, and solution behavior, and bring forward suggestions for improvements.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Architect, Director of Engineering, and other Team Leads.
• Ensure agreed processes and policies are applied within the team.
• Navigate large, complex technical domains comfortably and manage ambiguity effectively.

Who you are

An experienced cloud software / DevOps engineer who is passionate about modern cloud-based solutions and about growing the people around you. You have a proven ability to comprehend functional requirements and translate those insights into scalable solutions, and you know how to break that work down for a team to execute. You cherish performance, security, and craftsmanship, while keeping close tabs on IT developments, and enjoy coaching others to do the same.

• 4+ years of cloud software / DevOps hands-on experience using modern tools and best practices.
• 2+ years of experience leading, coaching, or mentoring a team of engineers.
• A strong communicator across all levels, comfortably representing the team to stakeholders and leadership with a proactive, transparent voice.
• Ability to balance people management with hands-on technical work.
• Computer Science or Engineering background.
