Position Overview:
As Chief Technology Officer at Omega Law Group, you will be responsible for developing and executing the firm's technology strategy to improve operational efficiency, strengthen our technology infrastructure, and support continued business growth. This newly created role involves executive leadership, strategic planning, systems optimization, and collaboration across departments to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance how the firm operates and serves its clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an overarching technology strategy aligned with the firm's business goals and objectives
- Lead, mentor, and manage the firm's technology team, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and innovative culture
- Evaluate the firm's existing technology infrastructure, systems, and processes and identify opportunities for improvement, integration, and automation
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to understand business needs and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and performance
- Oversee the selection, implementation, integration, and optimization of technology platforms and systems across the firm
- Develop a technology roadmap that supports the firm's continued growth and scalability
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies to improve workflows and business operations
- Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, system reliability, access controls, and technology risk management
- Establish technology policies, standards, and best practices to ensure security, reliability, and consistency across the organization
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and third-party service providers, including contract negotiations and performance management
- Oversee and manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and measurable business value
- Establish KPIs, measure technology performance, and provide regular reporting to executive leadership
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that can provide a competitive or operational advantage
- Ensure technology initiatives comply with applicable legal, privacy, security, and ethical requirements
*This position is based at our West Hollywood office and requires physical presence on-site.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Technology, IT, Engineering, or related fields, with 5+ years of experience in people management strongly preferred
- Proven track record of success in senior technology leadership roles, preferably within the legal, professional services, or other high-growth service industry
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing organization-wide technology strategies
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure, cloud-based systems, cybersecurity, data management, integrations, and business applications
- Experience leading major technology implementations, system migrations, integrations, and process improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of automation and artificial intelligence, with the ability to identify practical applications that improve business operations
- Experience managing technology vendors, budgets, contracts, and third-party relationships
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into scalable technology solutions
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, business continuity, and technology risk management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Advanced degree and/or relevant technology certifications are a plus
Compensation: $200k+ depending on experience
