Automation Systems Engineer

The Role

• Design, implement, and maintain automation and orchestration platforms.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to build scalable solutions.
• Develop operational standards, documentation, and lifecycle management for automation platforms.
• Integrate solutions such as self-service portals, CMDB, platform security, and observability tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize platform availability.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using tools like GitLab and Jenkins.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in deploying and administering automation platforms (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Vault) in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of automation architecture and ecosystems with hands-on experience at scale.
• Experience developing automation pipelines and integrating with CI/CD workflows.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Knowledge of system observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in software systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or platform operations.
