Software Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional, hands-on Engineering Manager who combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership experience. This is not a purely managerial role—we are looking for a player-coach who can lead engineering teams while actively contributing to technical strategy, architecture, and critical engineering decisions.

The ideal candidate is language-agnostic, comfortable working across multiple technology stacks, and capable of guiding teams building modern cloud-native applications at scale.

Key Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of Engineering Manager or technical leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on technical background with multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience working across both backend and frontend technologies.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Experience building and scaling cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team development skills.
• Ability to balance business priorities with technical excellence.
• Strong understanding of AI-powered software development, including experience working with LLMs, AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT), and familiarity with integrating AI capabilities into products and engineering workflows.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1 or higher).
