Web Architect - Chennai (India)

RADWIN is expanding its engineering team and is seeking a hands-on Web Architect to define and

evolve the architecture of two core web platforms that power our products solution suite. The role combines architectural leadership with practical engineering contribution across Angular applications, shared UI foundations, backend integrations, cloud and embedded-device environments.

What You Will Work On?

RWS Cloud Platform — A Kubernetes-native microservices ecosystem running on AWS, comprising an API Gateway, Redis, and containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes) built with Node.js/NestJS, alongside an Angular client. Responsibilities include designing and scaling distributed backend services, contributing to cloud infrastructure decisions, and maintaining a shared Angular component library.

Management Monorepo — An NX-based micro-frontend platform built on Angular 22 with Webpack

Module Federation and a NestJS 11 backend, using NgRx Signals for state management. The platform is

served directly on embedded devices, requiring careful consideration of performance, resource constraints, deployment compatibility, reliability, and long-term maintainability. Responsibilities include

delivering features across a domain-driven library architecture with strict TypeScript, reactive patterns (RxJS, SSE), and enterprise-grade UI standards

Requirements:

Web Architecture and Technical Leadership

• 5+ years of hands-on experience across the full stack (frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure), with demonstrated ownership of web architecture and cross-team technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in modern Angular architecture, including standalone components, signals, reactive

forms, dependency management, and scalable application design. Experience with Angular 22 is preferred.

• Proven experience defining frontend architecture standards, including application structure, shared libraries, component reuse, state management, and API integration.
• Strong understanding of backend integration and service architecture using NestJS/Node.js, including API contracts, authentication, and real-time communication.
• Proven experience designing and operating systems on AWS and Kubernetes, including microservices and containerized deployments.
• Deep understanding of monorepo architectures (NX or similar), module federation, and domain-driven library design.
• Strong command of TypeScript, RxJS, and modern state management patterns.
• Required knowledge of database technologies, including MongoDB and SQL.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews, communicate technical trade-offs, establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, and influence technical decisions across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building services with Python (Flask), alongside Node.js/NestJS.
• Track record owning CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (Vitest/Jest/Playwright), and driving code quality and architecture decisions across a team.
• Experience with Helm for Kubernetes deployment management.

Preferred — Modern AI-Enabled Developer

• Practical experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into production systems: API-based LLM integration, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows.
• Fluency working with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
