Team Leader – Application Development
Location: Charleston, SC
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Type: Permanent / Full-Time
We are looking for an experienced Application Development Team Leader to lead a team of software developers while remaining hands-on with software development and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 7–10 software developers
- Remain hands-on with application development as a player-coach
- Manage multiple application development projects from start to deployment
- Prioritize projects and allocate team resources effectively
- Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Provide technical guidance and drive problem resolution
- Support IT strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering/development experience
- 3+ years of software development team leadership experience
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong hands-on software development background
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
