Solutions Architect Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Collaboration with IT teams to design, improve and enforce technology architecture design principles, governance, and standards across the solutions landscape.

2. Adopt API and Microservices, Drive External API, Internal API, API Connect and Microservices Adoption across technologies.

3. Lead technical team to follow Security Architecture and Standards.

4. In collaboration with IT Security Operations, ensure security vulnerabilities are fixed across all projects.

5. Define a practical, implementable and actionable architectural vision and framework, customized to business requirements.

6. Ensure that non-functional requirements have been included and are implemented as part of solution architecture.

7. Establish conceptual architecture documentation based on strategy.

8. Define and implement key strategic technology platforms and solutions for the future growth and success of the business.

9. Create and develop technology radar with goal of tracking emerging technology trends and evangelizing potential areas to infuse into continuous innovation pipeline.

10. Develop API and micros-services architectures.

11. Develop processes and tools including continuous integration and deployment.

12. Responsible for the appropriateness of technology architecture solutions delivered to the technology teams of the bank.

13. Develop and present to Technology management on Procurement, Innovations and influence decision making.

14. Provide a consensus-based enterprise architecture roadmap that is scalable, adaptable and fit for bank’s architecture landscape.

15. Provide recommendations to the projects and applications on technical architecture and any deviations to be highlight.

16. Ensure that architecture future models are developed in an efficient, sustainable, agile and adaptable manner, to link business requirements and technology strategy.

17. Provide application consolidation approach based on architecture strategy and business requirements.

18. Share best practices, lessons learned and constantly update the technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current and up-coming vendor products and solutions.

19. Ensure correct adoption of policies and procedures to guarantee that QNB ALAHLI business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, as well as International Standards.

20. Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of Permanent Supervision system, compliance, operational risk & workplace success guidelines whenever & wherever possible.
