Role Overview

As Senior Strategy Director, you will serve as the chief architect of our global telecom quality, core network, and SM-DP+ infrastructure. You will directly shape our global connectivity footprint, drastically lower roaming costs, and elevate network performance for over 20 million users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect the Global Strategy: Define and own the multi-year vision for our Core Network, SM-DP+, and MVNX roadmap to scale our telecom infrastructure across priority markets.
  • Quality vision and differentiation: Define what premium travel connectivity quality means at global scale, how we measure it, and how we move decisively ahead of competitors.
  • Drive Financial Efficiency: Engineer wholesale cost structures to aggressively reduce data termination expenses across 30+ carrier relationships.
  • Infrastructure optimization: Model and execute architecture pivots, evaluating structural changes that deliver measurably superior quality.
  • Navigate Global Regulatory Landscapes: Develop compliant deployment models for complex markets subject to permanent roaming restrictions and local regulatory demands.
  • Mapping driven by data: Leverage telemetry from 20M+ users to map dynamic geographic network performance and preemptively flag carrier degradation.
  • Empower a High-Performing Team: Direct and develop a distributed global team of network architects, analysts, and operations leads, with 3 direct reports covering network architecture, quality and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of senior expertise in telecom strategy, cellular network engineering, roaming architecture, or MVNO/MVNX strategy.
  • Deep technical acumen across GSMA SGP.22, eUICC Remote SIM Provisioning, multi-IMSI management, and 4G/5G core networks (Diameter, GTP, IPX).
  • Proven track record demonstrating success driving initiatives across Product, Operations, and commercial teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building and guiding cross-functional, globally distributed teams.
  • Experience owning forecasting, business operations, or commercial planning in a data intensive environment, covering demand and capacity planning, unit economics, and reporting cadence
  • Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with GSMA SGP.32 (eSIM IoT), 5G Standalone roaming (SEPP/N32), or SM-DP+ migrations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of IMS architecture, VoLTE/VoWiFi roaming, TAP/RAP settlement, and steering of roaming.
  • Direct commercial negotiation experience with Tier-1 carriers and global roaming hubs.

What We Offer

  • 100% Remote & Flexible Culture: Work from anywhere with a high level of trust and ownership in Europe.
  • Global Scale & Impact: Directly shape the connectivity experience for millions of international travelers worldwide.
  • Growth & Innovation: Opportunity to lead 5G transformation and cloud-native telecom architecture at a fast-scaling tech enterprise.
  • Competitive Package: Benchmark-aligned salary, performance bonuses, health coverage, and professional learning stipends.
