Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the overall software engineering strategy and roadmap
- Partner with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of products and features
- Implement best practices in architecture, coding standards, testing, and deployment
- Drive adoption of modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD)
- Guide system architecture decisions for scalability, performance, and security
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to maintain competitive advantage
- Ensure platform reliability, availability, and resilience
- Work closely with Product, Design, Data, and Operations teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and manage trade-offs
- Communicate technical vision and progress to non-technical executives
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track engineering performance
- Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data governance standards

Your profile
- University degree in Electrical engineering, Informatics, Mechatronics, or Physics
- Proven experience with technical leadership in complex SW development for electromechanical systems
- 10+ years of experience in complex automotive systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Expertise in problem-solving methodologies: DMAIC, 8D, Fishbone, Ishikawa, etc.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Fluency in English is essential, German is an advantage
