Chief Delivery Officer (CDO)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) to lead our engineering organization. We need a leader with a strong technical background, a product-led mindset, and human-centric leadership to guide Shiwaforce's delivery capabilities into the AI-native era.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Delivery Organization Management: Aligning and supporting the leadership across 4 core areas: Engineering, Product Management, Testing/QA, and AI.
• Product Ownership & Cross-Functional Alignment: Directing the work of Product Owners, while collaborating closely with the PMO and Presales teams to ensure seamless project scoping and delivery.
• AI-Driven Delivery Transformation: Deeply and systematically integrating modern AI-based solutions across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Product & Delivery Strategy: Creating and maintaining the optimal balance between custom project-based delivery and productized platform solutions.
• Scalable Engineering Culture: Supporting team building, seniority matrices, and career development in the AI era, while ensuring high delivery quality, SLAs, and regulatory compliance (DORA, NIS2).
• Technological C-Level Representation: Authentically representing the company's engineering and delivery excellence in strategic enterprise and banking client relationships.

Requirements:

• Relevant C-level or senior executive experience (track record as VP of Engineering, CTO, CDO, or Head of Delivery within an IT consulting or software development environment).
• Deep Technical Understanding & Current AI Expertise: Thorough technical knowledge of software architectures, infrastructure, and the latest AI models and agents.
• Product Development & Product Management Experience: Proven ability to transform engineering capacity into business value and scalable product solutions.
• Strong management competencies with a modern, people-first leadership philosophy.
• Language Skills: Native-level Hungarian and professional, business-fluent English proficiency (both written and spoken).
