- Works with other Technology areas to make tactical decisions about product functionality.
- Manages projects that consist of a single development team.
- Propose and manage demand for application work.
- Manages projects through all phases and milestones.
- Manages product feature/capability set for business solutions.
- Performs market and competitor analysis.
- Authors product requirement documents (PDDs) and technical specs to support engineering handoff and stakeholder alignment.
- Scopes and manages partner-facing API and system-to-system integrations, coordinating with external technical teams through delivery.
- Translates technical tradeoffs into business impact for non-technical stakeholders.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education: Must meet one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
- Associate's Degree in a Technical Field
- Certification in relevant focus area
Level Specific Responsibilities
- Creates and manages product roadmaps
- Works with Marketing to determine advertising strategy for products
- Analyzes metrics and measures product performance; comfortable working with data engineering to validate reporting accuracy
- Manages larger projects that may consist of more than one development team
- Works with platform development vendors and internal cross-functional partners (Design, Legal, Data, Engineering) to provide technical management. Owns the delivery of platform and services
- Manages product strategy and feature/capability set for business solutions
- Works independently on moderately complex projects/assignments and seeks guidance on projects/assignments of higher complexity
- May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees
