Chief Technology Officer - Government, Growth

Exciting career opportunity available for a client-facing Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with deep government sector knowledge at C-level. Suited candidates will have a depth and breadth of experience, specifically strong legacy estate experience, articulating the technology, architecture, and schema, with a proven track record of evangelising the future for Government departments. You are likely to have depth of experience in cross-departmental data sharing, AI, SaaS, transformation, and you are likely to have a strong network at executive level within the large Government departments.

This job will require a thought leader, a disruptor within the government sector, an individual who is proactively pushing boundaries. Key to the job will be driving growth opportunities, so you are likely to have the gravitas to influence others, and will have strong stakeholder management experience. You will have strong financial, commercial, budget management, and utilisation experience with a track record of aligning world-class technology solutions into Government departments.

This job could be perfect for a CTO who has been delivering a very similar job over the past 3-4 years, but is thinking about a new challenge, in a dynamic environment with like-minded thought-leaders who are energised, empowered, given the autonomy, and commitment/resources from the business to truly deliver value. You are likely to be keen to apply your lessons learnt in recent years to making a difference to the wider Government sector, and improving citizens’ lives.

Current SC Security Clearance may be advantageous but is not essential.
