Chief Product Engineer

We’re looking for a visionary Chief Product Engineer to lead the development and scaling of Crunchy Sip’s core edible product line. This role sits at the intersection of food science, engineering, and creativity — ideal for someone who thrives on experimentation and innovation in food technology. You’ll own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from concept formulation to production readiness — and help shape the foundation of a category-defining product.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead R&D for Crunchy Sip’s edible product line and drive technical innovations.
• Develop, refine, and optimize product formulations for stability, texture, and taste.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and cross-functional teams to translate ideas into scalable processes.
• Build and manage a small technical team as production scales.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Oversee technical documentation, trials, and continuous product improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in R&D / NPD (New Product Development) — preferably in baked, snack, or confectionery products.
• Understanding of food machinery compatibility and production-scale transitions.
• Hands-on mindset with a knack for problem-solving and experimentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and ownership skills.
