Founding Software Engineer

Boston, MA (Onsite) Up to $250,000 Base Salary + Equity US Citizens or Green Card Holders Only

We're partnered with a venture-backed startup building AI-driven software that is solving complex real-world problems at scale. With strong funding, an experienced founding team, and ambitious growth plans, they're looking for a Founding Software Engineer to help build the company and product from the ground up.

This is a rare chance to join as one of the earliest technical hires, working directly alongside the founders to define the product, architecture, and engineering culture.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and scale core product features from concept to production.
• Own development across the full stack using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Help define technical architecture and engineering best practices.
• Work directly with customers to understand problems and rapidly deliver solutions.
• Drive product direction alongside the founding team.
• Recruit and mentor future engineers as the team grows.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience building production applications with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Previous startup experience, ideally in Seed to Series A companies.
• Ability to move quickly and thrive in a high-ownership environment.
• Experience taking products from zero to one.
• Strong product mindset and customer empathy.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with a desire to help build a company, not just write code.
