Head of Information Technology

A leading organisation in Bangkok is seeking a Head of Information Technology to oversee local IT operations, applications, infrastructure, security, governance, and workplace support. What you'll do:
* Lead all aspects of local IT operations, including application management, infrastructure oversight, security protocols, governance frameworks, and workplace support services.
* Manage application portfolios and vendor relationships for maintenance, enhancements, and new development initiatives, ensuring service levels are consistently met.
* Responsible for managing IT risks, implementing controls, and ensuring compliance with security requirements.
* Ensure strict adherence to global IT policies, standards, governance frameworks, and operational processes across all local activities.
* Take ownership of the local IT budget, including cost optimisation strategies, financial planning, and comprehensive reporting.
* Partner closely with business stakeholders to prioritise IT initiatives that deliver practical solutions aligned with organisational goals.
* Drive the adoption of AI technologies and Microsoft Copilot through use case identification, knowledge-sharing sessions, and hands-on implementation support.
* Lead the local delivery of Headquarters-driven application rollouts, infrastructure upgrades, and digital transformation projects.
* Support transition activities related to the move towards an independent operating model, including process adaptation and system integration.
* Oversee network architecture, including servers, data centres, device connectivity, and access control mechanisms.
* Coordinate the installation of infrastructure components, as well as ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support activities.

What you bring:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
* At least seven years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, applications, project management, or IT service management within complex organisations.
* Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, systems administration, and relevant protocols.
* Proven knowledge of IT governance frameworks, security and risk management methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Copilot, or similar platforms for business intelligence and automation.
* Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to successfully deliver multi-faceted initiatives involving cross-functional teams.
* Strong vendor relationship management capabilities, ensuring outsourced service providers consistently meet agreed service levels.
* Advanced budget management skills, including cost optimisation, accurate financial reporting, and effective resource allocation.
* Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate stakeholder needs into practical technology solutions that deliver measurable value.
* Excellent English communication skills, enabling clear and effective collaboration across multinational teams, diverse audiences, and varied business contexts.
* International or multinational work experience is preferred, demonstrating adaptability, cultural awareness, and a global perspective.
