As they continue to scale regional execution of global product strategy, they are seeking a technically strong, factory-facing leader to head up the region.
The Opportunity
This is a rare regional leadership mandate that sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and manufacturing. You'll be the person who takes global product intent and turns it into real, manufacturable, high-performance products working hands-on with cross-country teams and factory partners to get it right the first time.
The Role
- Define and deliver Company, Category, and Product strategies aligned with global direction and make sure every team and factory understands the "why" behind them
- Own the full product development cycle, from brief to production approval, for the company's core product lines
- Bring deep, hands-on materials expertise plastics, composites, foams, textiles, metals to every design and manufacturing decision
- Lead structured risk management (DFMEA) and stage-gate reviews to catch problems before they become expensive
- Act as the key technical bridge between global PD, Engineering, and regional factories solving root-cause issues on the ground
- Roll out and embed digital PD systems (Monday.com, PLM) to bring visibility and discipline to every project
- Build and mentor a high-performing regional PD team across multiple factory hubs
- Own the KPIs that matter: timeliness, cost, quality, and technical readiness
About You
- 12+ years in product development or engineering leadership within a performance-driven consumer or industrial products category
- Deep, hands-on expertise across materials and manufacturing processes (tooling, molding, forming, lamination, assembly)
- A track record of leading regional teams and factory partners through genuinely complex technical challenges
- Comfortable interpreting engineering drawings and translating performance requirements into production reality
- Experience implementing digital project management systems in a manufacturing environment
- Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field
- Someone who anticipates problems early, communicates the "why" clearly, and owns outcomes through to resolution
On Offer
- A high-visibility regional leadership role with real influence over global-to-local execution
- The chance to shape systems and processes across four countries, not just one plant
- A technically-minded, factory-facing culture that values ownership and continuous improvement
