We're partnering with an exciting fintech startup on the verge of a major growth phase, with seed funding expected imminently. They're building a next-generation marketplace connecting investors with professionally managed funds, using AI-driven technology to simplify decision-making in a traditionally complex market.

This is a rare opportunity for a hands-on CTO to join at the ground floor, shape the technical vision, influence business strategy, and potentially step into a Co-Founder level opportunity with meaningful equity upside.

The Opportunity

As CTO, you'll take ownership of the entire technology function, overseeing architecture, product strategy, engineering delivery, security, infrastructure, and team growth.

You'll work closely with the founders to build a scalable, customer-first platform that combines wealth management expertise, AI-powered matching technology, and exceptional user experience.

This is not a role for a corporate people manager. We're looking for a builder who wants to help create something from scratch while remaining deeply involved in technical decision-making

What You'll Be Doing

• Defining and executing the company's technology strategy
• Owning platform architecture, infrastructure, scalability, security, and engineering best practices
• Working closely with the leadership team to shape product direction and business strategy
• Ensuring products meet regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services
• Building and leading the engineering function from the ground up
• Managing external technology partners and third-party vendors
• Recruiting and mentoring high-performing engineering talent
• Creating exceptional customer experiences through thoughtful product and UX decisions

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience within fintech, wealthtech, or investment-focused technology businesses
• Strong understanding of regulated financial services environments
• Track record of owning architecture, infrastructure, and technical strategy
• Experience building customer-facing products used at scale
• Ability to clearly articulate technology decisions and trade-offs
• Strong appreciation for product design, UI, and user experience
• Experience working with financial institutions, lenders, investment firms, or regulated partners
• Previous experience scaling and leading engineering teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build something significant
