Tasks
As Lead Data Architect (m/f/d/x), you will design and optimize IT architectures and analyze business and technical requirements for software, platforms and/or infrastructure for the IT Data landscape, enabling IT solutions and services such as data products, data platforms or legacy clean-up to be implemented quickly, agilely and innovatively.
Your key responsibilities also include:
- You are responsible for the overall interactions of components, systems and functions from the network through to the customer interaction point
- You are responsible for implementing architecture concepts in product development and services
- You identify innovations in technology fields and actively contribute to their implementation within the Group and in the industry
- You manage architecture and design activities, including those of major strategic and international projects and programs, and provide comprehensive advice to top management
- You lead strategic projects
You are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:
- Many years of experience in independently and reliably planning and managing new topics, including in virtual and/or international team environments
- Outstanding experience in traditional and agile forms of collaboration, particularly in managing and leading major projects/programs
- Excellent experience in international and intercultural environments
- Technology and methodology expertise that is up to date:
- Data Technologies
- Data Products
- Google Cloud Platform, Big Query, Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, Analytics, Data Studio
- Cloud Technologies, FinOps
- Retiring legacy DWH towards GCP
- Enterprise Architecture
- IT-Governance
- Many years of professional experience with technological end-to-end responsibility
- Intercultural experience in offshore project
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
