- Architect event-driven and API-led integration solutions (REST, SOAP, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, MuleSoft)
- Provide authoritative technical guidance during solution design, proposal development, and delivery phases
- Own and maintain architectural documentation, technical diagrams (C4, UML), decision records, and standards
- Lead architectural reviews and drive technical debt identification and remediation
- Support product and delivery leaders with technical planning, estimation, and risk assessment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver robust, well-governed solutions
- Mentor and uplift developers, senior developers, and technical leads on architecture principles, design patterns, and Salesforce best practices
- Ensure compliance with internal engineering standards, government regulations, and industry best practices
- Champion DevOps maturity — CI/CD pipelines, source control (Salesforce DX, Git), automated testing, and release management
- Drive org health, technical hygiene, and platform performance optimisation (governor limits, LDV strategies, async patterns)
- 10+ years of experience in software development or engineering, with 5+ years focused on Salesforce architecture and solution design
- Proven experience designing complex integrations (REST, SOAP, middleware/iPaaS, Platform Events)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security models, and multi-cloud/multi-org strategies
- Experience with Salesforce DX, CI/CD tooling (Copado, Gearset, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to create and present architectural documentation and technical diagrams to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complexity
