Role Description As a Technical Cofounder at Cord, you will play a central role in shaping the product, technology strategy, and overall direction of the company. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting and developing core platform features, integrating with third-party tools and APIs, and ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of the product. You will collaborate closely with the founding team on product roadmap decisions, contribute to go-to-market planning, and support customer conversations with technical insight. Additional activities include overseeing technical documentation, mentoring future engineering hires, and helping build a strong, inclusive engineering culture.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, design robust solutions, and make sound technical and product decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with non-technical partners, presenting complex ideas clearly, and engaging with customers and investors.
- Experience with sales and customer-facing activities, including technical demos, supporting deal cycles, and aligning product capabilities with client needs.
- Marketing and research skills to help identify market opportunities, understand user needs, and refine product positioning and messaging.
- Proficiency in building and scaling SaaS products, including experience with modern web technologies, cloud infrastructure, and API integrations.
- Prior startup or early-stage experience, with a willingness to take ownership, operate with limited resources, and iterate quickly.
- Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA on a regular basis while effectively managing hybrid work arrangements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
