HPC Architect Leader

This role focuses on leading the architecture and strategy for high-performance computing systems within a global technology team. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineering and operations, to deliver optimized solutions for critical data processing workloads. This position offers the opportunity to drive innovation in compute technology and develop a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a dedicated team of 4 to 5 architects in the design and implementation of next-generation HPC systems.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging compute technologies to enhance the company's HPC capabilities.
• Drive the development of the core compute architecture and infrastructure roadmap to meet future demands.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendors to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
• Influence decisions that lead to measurable improvements in performance, reliability, and total cost of ownership.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and scaling large-scale HPC compute and storage architectures.
• At least 3 years of experience in managing and leading an HPC technology team.
• Proven expertise in designing performance-optimized systems utilizing both CPU and GPU technologies.
• Deep technical command of the HPC stack, including next-gen processors, memory subsystems, and high-speed interconnects.
• Comprehensive mastery of Linux-based environments and the broader HPC ecosystem.
