About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Technology to lead the company’s technology function and oversee the development, architecture, infrastructure, security, and delivery of our software solutions

This opportunity is open to candidates currently based in Lebanon who are willing to relocate to Jordan. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership experience, preferably within FinTech, banking, CRM, or financial technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall technology strategy and technical direction of the company
• Manage and oversee software development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and other technical functions
• Oversee the architecture, development, integration, and maintenance of company products and platforms
• Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business requirements
• Lead technical decisions related to architecture, frameworks, cloud infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and development standards
• Manage engineering teams, technical leads, and technology-related resources
• Establish development standards, workflows, documentation, code quality, and release processes
• Oversee product releases and ensure projects are delivered according to agreed timelines and quality standards
• Work closely with Product, Operations, UX/UI, and business teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
• Oversee third-party integrations, vendors, APIs, and external technology providers
• Identify technical risks, performance issues, security concerns, and areas for improvement
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and adoption of suitable technologies
• Participate in technical hiring, team structure, performance evaluation, and resource planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development or technology roles, including 3+ years in a technical leadership position
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and cybersecurity principles
• Proven experience managing software development and technical teams
• Experience delivering complex, scalable software platforms and integrations
• Strong understanding of Agile development and software delivery processes
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in FinTech, banking solutions, trading platforms, or CRM systems is highly preferred
• Must be willing and able to relocate from Lebanon to Jordan for this position
