We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology strategy, innovation, and operational excellence of our Data Centre business. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the company's technical vision, overseeing the design and operation of mission-critical infrastructure, and driving digital transformation while ensuring the highest standards of reliability, security, and scalability.
This is a senior executive role for a leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen and a proven track record in building and operating enterprise-scale data centre environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the design, deployment, and operation of Tier III/Tier IV data centre infrastructure.
- Oversee data centre facilities, network architecture, cloud integration, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.
- Drive innovation in AI-ready infrastructure, high-density computing, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security frameworks.
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve service offerings and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with executive leadership, customers, and strategic partners to support business growth.
- Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and major infrastructure investments.
- Establish KPIs and governance frameworks to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, or data centre operations.
- At least 8 years in a senior technology leadership or executive role.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise data centre design, virtualization, cloud platforms, networking, storage, and cybersecurity.
- Experience with hyperscale or colocation data centres is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
- Proven leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
