The IT Architecture & Integration Director is responsible for overseeing the IT architecture including data exchange / API platform management within the Christian Louboutin IT landscape. This role ensures the alignment of IT systems with business objectives, supports the development and integration of new technologies, and maintains the operational efficiency of IT services. The Director will be supervised by the CIO and plays a critical role in shaping the IT strategy and roadmap. The Director also acts as a key architecture partner for the implementation of Artificial Intelligence within Maison Christian Louboutin, ensuring that AI-enabled solutions are secure, scalable, integrated with the enterprise landscape, and aligned with business value, data governance, and responsible AI principles.
Key Responsibilities
IT Architecture Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the enterprise IT architecture, ensuring it supports current and future business needs.
- Define and implement architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify and prioritize architectural improvements.
- Lead the design and integration of new systems and technologies, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Oversee the evaluation and selection of technology solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
AI Enablement & Responsible Architecture Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the target architecture and reference patterns for AI and Generative AI solutions across the Maison Christian Louboutin IT landscape.
- Translate business AI use cases into secure, scalable and maintainable architecture designs, covering data flows, integration, APIs, identity, access management, cloud services, observability and operational run requirements.
- Assess AI platforms, vendors and technical components, and provide architecture recommendations aligned with enterprise standards, cybersecurity requirements, data protection, confidentiality and GDPR expectations.
- Partner with Data & Innovation, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Digital, Retail, Supply Chain and Back Office teams to move AI initiatives from proof of concept to industrialized solutions.
- Ensure AI solutions are integrated with the broader architecture, including Microsoft 365 / Azure capabilities, data platforms, Mulesoft APIs, MFT flows and core business applications when relevant.
- Contribute to AI governance by defining architecture guardrails, documentation standards, lifecycle management, cost control principles and handover criteria for operations and support teams.
API Platform Management (Mulesoft) & Opcon Managed File Transfer (MFT) Responsibilities
- Manage the Mulesoft API platform and Opcon MFT architecture, ensuring its effective use in integrating various IT systems and services.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure APIs and MFT are designed and implemented according to best practices.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement of our API Platform and MFT solution
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present regular reports on IT architecture including API and MFT platform performance to senior management.
- Analyze key metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide visibility on AI architecture decisions, implementation risks, dependencies and readiness for scale-up across the IT portfolio.
- Track and report on AI architecture adoption, reuse of patterns, security / compliance remediation actions, and operationalization status for key initiatives.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in IT architecture and API platform management.
- Proven track record of leading and managing IT teams in a complex, multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and API management solutions (e.g., Mulesoft).
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI architecture, including data foundations, model / service integration, prompt and knowledge grounding patterns, lifecycle management and operational monitoring.
- Practical experience supporting AI initiatives from opportunity assessment and solution design through proof of concept, industrialization and production handover.
- Good knowledge of responsible AI, cybersecurity, privacy, confidentiality, GDPR, data residency and intellectual property considerations related to enterprise AI implementation.
- Ability to communicate AI architecture choices, risks, constraints and trade-offs clearly to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, communication in French and English.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, balancing long-term vision with short-term priorities.
IT Architecture Director Reporting
- The Director will be supervised by Group CIO
Compensation: €85,000 – €95,000 brut per annum, depending on profile and experience.
At equal qualifications, priority will be given to candidates recognized as beneficiaries under the disability employment obligation.
