E-House Technical Lead

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced E-House Technical Lead to join the North America Power Systems Execution team. The E-House Technical Lead is responsible for the overall technical leadership, coordination, and successful delivery of medium and large-scale E-House, and integrated power system projects. This role serves as the primary technical interface between customers, project teams, engineering groups, manufacturing facilities, and multiple Schneider Electric business units throughout the project lifecycle. Based on the E-House Technical Lead role description, the position owns the development and implementation of the overall technical solution during project execution while also supporting sales and tendering activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Project Execution
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams through the design, execution, testing, and commissioning of E-House and integrated electrical infrastructure projects.
- Assume ownership of the overall technical solution and ensure successful execution of the technical scope across all project phases.
- Validate project technical scope, requirements, interfaces, assumptions, and deliverables.
- Monitor technical execution activities to ensure compliance with scope, schedule, budget, contractual obligations, and technical standards.
- Identify technical risks, engineering challenges, and project issues, and drive corrective actions through resolution.
Engineering & Design Management
- Provide technical oversight and guidance for E-House layouts, power distribution systems, protection and control systems, switchgear, transformers, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Drive value engineering initiatives and design improvements that enhance safety, reliability, manufacturability, maintainability, and customer value.
- Ensure design changes and technical deviations are properly managed through established change control processes.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout project execution.
- Work closely with project managers, solution architects, sales teams, proposal teams, and engineering groups to align technical solutions with customer objectives.
- Facilitate technical discussions, design reviews, risk reviews, factory acceptance testing, and customer presentations.
- Build strong customer relationships and provide technical leadership that supports long-term business growth.
Sales & Tendering Support
- Support sales and tendering teams during project development and proposal stages.
- Help qualify customer requirements and develop optimized E-House and power system solutions.
- Prepare technical evaluations, engineering estimates, scope definitions, and proposal inputs.
- Support commercial and technical risk assessments during bid development.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate technical activities across multiple business units, manufacturing locations, engineering centers, and geographic regions.
- Ensure technical alignment among engineering disciplines, project management teams, suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and testing teams.
- Promote standardization, best practices, and technical excellence across projects.
- Support lessons learned, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering / technical field. Advanced engineering degree preferred.
- 1 0+ years of experience in power systems engineering, electrical infrastructure, or technical leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success leading large and complex projects involving multiple business units and stakeholders.
- Experience with E-House solutions, substations, medium-voltage and low -voltage electrical equipment, c ontrol systems, and power distribution infrastructure.
- Experience supporting project execution from design through commissioning.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of E-House design and integration principles.
- Expertise in electrical distribution systems, switchgear, protection and control, automation, and related infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Experience with technical evaluations, design reviews, equipment selection, factory testing, and field commissioning.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong leadership skills, including team building, empowering and delegating authority, and building rapport and consensus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service and team success.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, capable of handling a high volume of complex matters.

Travel:
- Ability to travel up to 35 % of the time. Normal work schedule is Monday to Friday but may vary based on project requirements. Special project circumstances may require additional or modified working days and/or hours.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 117,600 - USD 176,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
