Chief Technology Officer

Company Description KitchenWise is a restaurant transparency platform built around one simple idea: Restaurants prove. Customers see. We’re creating a new way for restaurants to showcase their kitchen standards through live, verified updates, giving customers greater confidence in where they choose to eat.

Role Description As Co-Founder & CTO, you’ll own the technical vision and development of KitchenWise from MVP through scale. You’ll lead the architecture, app and backend development, security, infrastructure, and future technical team while working closely with the founder on product strategy. This is a true founding role with meaningful equity for someone who wants to build the technology and company from the ground up.

Qualifications

* Proven track record building and scaling successful consumer-facing mobile apps

* Previously founded, co-founded, or held a senior technical leadership role in a tech startup that successfully exited

* Experience taking an app from concept/MVP through launch, growth, and acquisition or exit

* Strong expertise in mobile development, backend architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity

* Experience building scalable, production-ready technology rather than just prototypes

* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make technical decisions independently

* Strong product instincts and willingness to work directly with the founder on strategy and execution

* Experience recruiting and leading engineering teams

* Comfortable operating in an early-stage startup where responsibilities extend beyond a traditional CTO role

* Passion for building something from the ground up and creating meaningful long-term value

* Founder mentality is more important than a traditional résumé
