Senior Software Architect

Job Responsibilities: • Research, design, and lead the development of a shared Software Platform, ensuring its adaptability across all products. • Promote and implement decoupled, modular architecture designs that support independent development while maintaining coherence in the overall software ecosystem. • Champion DevOps practices and methodologies, including CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code, to enhance development efficiency and product quality. • Utilize the capabilities of modern architectural approaches and cloud native technologies to build air-gapped, low-latency, high-performance systems. • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are aligned with the technical strategy and roadmap. • Work within multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools. • Contribute to technological and architectural decisions through consensus building and knowledge sharing with the Product teams. • Be hands-on with the Product Teams to understand the limitations and consequences of choices made. Requirements: • Expertise in Kotlin and Java. • Expertise in Reactive, Message-based architectures. • Expertise in Data Modelling and read/write-model optimization patterns like CQRS. • Proficient in relational and timeseries databases. • Proficient in Ubuntu Linux and containerization technologies. • Proficient in CI/CD tools like GitLab CI and TeamCity. • Knowledge of Actor Based frameworks like Akka. Other Requirements: • 8+ years of experience in software development. • 3+ years of experience in leading a team or equivalent in computer science or related field. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
