The Enterprise Architect (Cloud, Infrastructure & Healthcare Platforms) is responsible for defining and governing the target architecture across cloud, infrastructure, networking, security, identity, workplace technologies, AI platforms, and healthcare systems. The role ensures technology decisions support patient safety, operational resilience, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation while providing architectural leadership from strategy through implementation and operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and govern enterprise architecture strategies, standards, roadmaps, and reference architectures across Azure, infrastructure, networking, security, identity, workplace, and healthcare platforms.
- Design and oversee hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, including Azure landing zones, data centres, disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and operational resilience.
- Establish architecture standards for Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, cybersecurity, Zero Trust, and secure access management.
- Provide architecture direction for healthcare systems and integrations, including EMR/EHR, HIS, PACS, RIS, LIS, and clinical applications.
- Lead architecture governance, design reviews, technology evaluations, vendor assessments, RFPs, and investment planning.
- Define AI platform strategy, AI governance, Azure AI services, GPU infrastructure, MLOps/LLMOps, security controls, and responsible AI adoption.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, ADHICS, ISO 27001, NIST, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Mentor architects and senior engineers while communicating architectural decisions, risks, costs, and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 12+ years of infrastructure, cloud, network, or cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise or solution architecture leadership.
- Strong experience in Azure, hybrid cloud, networking, identity management, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, enterprise architecture, and healthcare technology environments.
- Experience delivering large-scale cloud, infrastructure, workplace, identity, and security transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, regulatory compliance, security-by-design, privacy-by-design, risk management, and governance frameworks.
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, CISSP/CCSP, Palo Alto or Fortinet certifications, ITIL, and COBIT.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, commercial, and decision-making capabilities.
