Equipment Finance - Quality Control Analyst

You will collaborate with partners to reinforce consistent practices and support continuous improvement. Your work helps ensure clients and internal stakeholders receive accurate, timely outcomes.
As a Quality Analyst in the Equipment Finance Quality team, you will perform quality reviews for complex and multi-layered transactions to support accurate processing and strong controls. You will document results, track trends, and provide actionable feedback that improves performance and reduces recurring errors. You will partner across functional teams to support consistent quality standards and meet service level agreements.
Job responsibilities
- Perform quality reviews of customer files and transactions against established quality control criteria
- Document review results accurately in the quality tracking system for monitoring and reporting
- Complete quality-related requests within defined service level agreements
- Follow documented quality policies, procedures, and review guidelines
- Maintain and update testing job aids and procedures to keep them current
- Identify error trends and escalate opportunities for training, coaching, or process improvement
- Prepare standard reports, issue logs, and tracking artifacts to summarize outcomes and activity
- Build and apply strong working knowledge of end-to-end operational processes supported by the team
- Partner with processors and stakeholders to provide clear feedback on defects and required corrections
- Collaborate with fellow Quality Analysts to share best practices and improve review consistency
- Participate in quality, controls, and departmental projects, including control walkthrough discussions and sample gathering
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to perform independent reviews with moderate supervision
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Proven ability to deliver accurate work in a high-volume, quality-controlled environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to document findings and provide feedback
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including critical thinking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications used for tracking and reporting
- Ability to research and validate information to support quality review conclusions
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across functional groups
- Ability to build positive working relationships to support risk identification and issue resolution practices
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience performing quality assurance, quality control, audit, or testing activities in an operations environment
- Experience supporting equipment finance, lending operations, or similar transaction-based workflows
- Experience developing or maintaining job aids, procedures, or reporting templates
- Quality Analyst or Business Analyst experience
