Pan Asia Publications Sdn Bhd is looking for an experienced ePub Developer to join our digital publishing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop reflowable EPUB 3 eBooks with interactive elements
- Embed audio, video, animations, interactive quizzes, buttons and multimedia content
- Ensure content is responsive and works across different screen sizes and platforms
- Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SVG and multimedia issues
- Validate and test EPUB files for functionality, compatibility and quality
- Work closely with editorial and design teams to deliver high-quality digital publications
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of hands-on EPUB development experience
- Strong experience with reflowable EPUB 3
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Experience creating interactive and multimedia EPUBs
- Good understanding of responsive layouts and cross-platform compatibility
- Experience with EPUB validation tools and debugging
- Knowledge of XML, SVG and EPUB accessibility/WCAG is an advantage
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Sigil, Calibre or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
