Fractional / Part-Time Product Lead (Technical PM)

The Role:

We are a fast-growing real estate analytics platform helping U.S. homebuyers and investors make data-driven decisions, serving over 180,000 active users.

They are currently repositioning the platform's UX, focusing on map speed, onboarding friction, and optimizing conversion funnels for traffic driven from X (Twitter) and Instagram. They need a execution-focused hybrid profile (Growth Lead or Technical PM) to jump in and lead this push.

Responsibilities:

• Reduce onboarding friction and optimize conversion rates (CRO) for short-attention social media traffic.

• Conduct heatmaps, session recording reviews, and funnel drop-off analysis.

• Define, manage, and execute A/B tests and feature flag rollouts.

• Partner closely with the engineering team to maintain high shipping velocity and optimize platform performance (specifically map latency).

Requirements:

• B2C Consumer SaaS Experience: Proven track record in high-volume, consumer-facing apps (freemium/paywalled). Pure-play B2C focus (enterprise B2B or agency backgrounds will not fit).

• Funnel & UX Optimization (CRO): Deep expertise in onboarding psychology and designing experiences optimized for quick-convert social traffic.

• Product Analytics Stack Mastery: Hands-on experience owning product analytics data. Direct experience with PostHog is a strong plus (or comparable depth in Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or FullStory).

• Technical Literacy: Enough engineering fluency to hold developers accountable to speed/latency benchmarks and review architectural trade-offs.

• Nice to Have: Founder / Indie Hacker Mindset: Previous success launching or building a personal app/product (even a small project). High ability to align with product vision and execute fast.
