The Role

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer / Corporate Digital Support specialist to join our Software Development Department. This role combines website development expertise with digital infrastructure management, focusing on designing and implementing corporate websites and portals while maintaining our digital presence. Based at our renovated Thessaloniki offices, you will be instrumental in shaping and supporting our corporate digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Web Development

• Design, develop, and maintain corporate websites primarily using WordPress CMS
• Develop and configure selected portals in Liferay platform
• Implement and customize themes, templates, and plugins to meet business requirements
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across all platforms
• Implement WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards for inclusive user experiences

Infrastructure Management

• Maintain and update Plesk servers hosting corporate websites
• Manage security patches, backups, and SSL certificate configurations
• Configure and optimize Cloudflare services including DNS settings, CDN, caching, and security rules
• Monitor website performance and implement optimization strategies
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support for website stability

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with Marketing and IT teams to ensure consistency in digital presence
• Provide technical support for corporate digital initiatives
• Contribute to digital strategy and infrastructure planning
• Maintain documentation for systems and processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
• Strong experience with WordPress CMS including custom theme development and plugin integration
• Familiarity with server management tools (Plesk, Apache/Nginx, MySQL)
• Experience with DNS management and Cloudflare configuration
• Solid understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and implementation
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Fluent English (written and spoken) for professional communication
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop)
• Experience in UI/UX design and digital asset creation
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimization
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Relevant certifications in web development or digital technologies
• Previous experience in corporate environment digital support
