## Essential Functions

Under general direction, serves as a Web Content Systems Specialist for

the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) supporting the Illinois

Department of Revenue (IDOR), performing specialized professional work

in Web Application Development Services, serving as a support resource

for a system or subsystem(s) of average complexity and preparing general

design, detail design, and program specifications task documentation.\

Serves as support for scheduled and remedial maintenance to assigned

websites and web applications.\

Assists in the integration and configuration of web-based solutions by

applying foundational scripting skills and collaborating with technical

teams to ensure reliable, standards-compliant applications.\

Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by

continuing education through online training platforms, meetings,

training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity

with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and

procedures.\

Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably

within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

## Minimum Qualifications

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4)

years of college with course work in computer science or directly

related field.\

Requires one (1) year of professional experience in Application Services

or a related Information Technology field.
