Frontend Developer - React

Position: Frontend Developer

Location: Sydney

Contract: 12+ Months and Extendable

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js.

Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and pixel-perfect web applications.

Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend development teams.

Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, accessibility, and performance.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement timely fixes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, QA, and DevOps.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Mandatory Skills

5+ years of Frontend Development experience.

Strong experience in React.js (React 17/18).

Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive web design.

Experience with Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.

Experience with React Hooks and functional components.

Experience consuming REST APIs using Axios or Fetch.

Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming.

Experience with Git and version control.

Knowledge of unit testing using Jest and React Testing Library.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
