YRK Chicago Salon is a high-end luxury boutique space located in the heart of the Gold Coast seeking an experienced and licensed hair stylist looking to up level their career with their existing clientele. We are looking for hair stylists that are skilled in color, hair cutting, and extensions. We are exclusive to Invisible Bead Extensions. We are a certified Invisible Bead Extension (IBE) method salon. As well as Fusion/ K-Tips Great Lengths. Join our welcoming team of talented and high-level professional artists!

As a trainee, we are looking for someone who is willing to expand their hair knowledge under our experienced stylists. You’ll support our expert stylists with tasks like shampooing, coloring, and client prep while observing professional techniques up close. You’ll take part in regular Model/ Training Days, where you’ll work on real clients under the guidance of senior stylists, allowing you to build confidence and receive hands-on feedback. Over time, you’ll begin to take on your own clients during selected shifts, gradually developing your skills and independence. On other days, you’ll continue assisting the team, ensuring constant learning and exposure to advanced work. This is a progressive role designed to guide you from trainee to fully-fledged stylist in a supportive, team-focused environment.
