Frontend Web Developer

Umobit is a Full Service, AI native, Digital Agency specializing in demanding and regulated environments. We are currently growing our team and we're looking for a talented, enthusiastic Front-End Web Developer with strong programming skills to join our brilliant Development team.

As a Front-End Web Developer, you will be actively involved with our current and future projects and a diverse range of clients across several sectors, always developing innovative solutions.

Services offered by Umobit include mainly digital products, ai powered solutions, platforms and processes. Umobit offers their clients ways to strategize, develop their online presence and grow online or e- enable their business through specific tools and processes.

The Front-End Web Developer will be a key member of the Umobit Development team and the core responsibilities include:

• Working with designers and the technical leader and the rest of the team of each project to design the best solution for what needs to be developed.
• Developing responsive UI designs using HTML and CSS, ensuring full compatibility with different browsers.
• Writing clean, structured and reusable code and libraries using development tools and following our methodologies.
• Working with our team's back-end developers to better link the individual parts of the applications.
• Being up to date and having a good understanding of emerging technologies and the opportunities they present for the team.
• Contributing ideas or that could add value to the clients' business.

Requirements

You’ll need:

• A degree in an IT related subject
• Core Web Techs: Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox and Grid), and Modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Frameworks/Libraries: 2-3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript frameworks, preferably Vue.js (or alternative experience in React / Angular).
• CSS Preprocessors: Strong, mandatory experience with SASS / SCSS for modular and scalable styling.
• SEO & Accessibility: Solid understanding of SEO principles and Web Accessibility (WCAG) standards to ensure inclusive and discoverable web experiences.
• State Management: Experience with state management tools (e.g., Pinia, Vuex, or Redux).
• Version Control: Proficient using Git and workflows on platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• UI Frameworks: Experience with modern CSS frameworks, specifically Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Ability to work in smaller and larger groups
• Appetite for knowledge and development
• An organized and confident attitude, able to manage multiple tasks and a varied workload
