Webmaster

We’re looking for a full time Webmaster to provide technical support and website assistance for clients of Anchor Wave. We’re looking for an organized and task oriented individual that has experience with WordPress websites and server environments.

Duties

The ideal candidate thrives in an environment where attention to details is crucial for client experience, and balance that with the need to meet deadlines. Some of the specific duties include:

Launching WordPress websites onto a variety of server environments.

Basic support issues: working with users new to WordPress, basic web hosting setup, email support, email configuration, website backups and updates to WordPress & Plugins.

Advanced support issues: browser compatibility issues, plugin conflicts, diagnosing and repairing compromised websites, etc.

Work with Account Managers, Designers and other internal team members to help solve basic and advanced support issues that arise during the course of projects.

Create plans for process improvement initiatives for website development, launch processes and technical support.

The Candidate Should Have Demonstrated Experience Doing Advanced WordPress Development And Working In a Diversity Of Hosting Environments. Applicants Must Meet The Following Core Criteria

Advanced knowledge of WordPress installation, plugins, HTML, CSS, MySQL databases, FTP

Knowledge of Firefox Firebug or Google Chrome Developer tools and familiarity with cross browser issues

Experience working with and troubleshooting a variety of hosting solutions / server configurations

Experience with various internet-specific protocols including DNS, SSL, IMAP, POP, SMTP

WPML/translation, Gutenberg Blocks, 3rd party template customization, use of visual builder tools, API configurations, understanding of Digital Marketing as it pertains to properly coded websites.
