We are working with a non-profit, WASC-accredited university located in the heart of Silicon Valley, committed to providing inclusive, innovative, and inspirational education for lifelong careers, and dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.

The Role

  • Manage and update the main university website and other digital assets.
  • Ensure websites are visually appealing, current, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Develop and refine website layouts that prioritize intuitive navigation and a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate design concepts into engaging web interfaces.
  • Utilize content management systems (e.g., WordPress) to update and manage website content.
  • Apply coding tasks (HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript) as needed to support design enhancements.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong eye for design.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and UI/UX principles.
  • Experience with website maintenance and enhancement.
  • Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues while maintaining design integrity.

What's On Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate of $45 – $65.
  • Full-time, non-exempt position.
  • Hybrid work schedule with two days onsite and three days remote per week.
