Compensation Analyst

Responsibilities of the Compensation Analyst include:
- Conduct market benchmarking using compensation survey platforms such as PayScale, Mercer MarketPay, Willis Towers Watson, and other industry resources.
- Assist in the design, evaluation, and maintenance of job architecture frameworks, salary structures, and pay ranges
- Review and analyze job descriptions to ensure alignment with organizational leveling frameworks and market benchmark positions.
- Administer and support the employee stock purchase plan and related compensation programs.
- Analyze market trends, compensation data, and pay equity metrics to develop recommendations and insights.
- Perform statistical analyses and complete salary survey submissions to support compensation planning and program design.
- Help ensure compliance with compensation-related regulations, including EEO, FLSA, and other applicable requirements.
- Prepare clear, concise reports, presentations, and data visualizations for internal stakeholders and client-facing engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, total rewards, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, including job evaluation, market benchmarking, salary structures, and pay equity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills; experience with statistical analysis tools is a plus.
- Ability to evaluate job content and identify appropriate benchmark matches using compensation databases and public market data sources.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000/year
