Position: Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A
Location: Fort Wayne, IN (Onsite)
The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A helps turn financial data into insight that supports better business decisions across the organization. This role leads financial planning, forecasting, and business analytics while partnering closely with Sales and the Corporate Controller to deliver accurate reporting, ensure commission accuracy, and maintain the integrity of revenue recognition and royalty accounting. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to connect financial results to meaningful business insights for leadership.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and maintain the annual operating budget and rolling financial forecasts
- Lead sales reporting, account-level analysis, and ad hoc reporting for leadership
- Manage CRM-based reporting and ensure ongoing data integrity
- Calculate and validate IRG and agent commission statements, including SPIFF payouts
- Support revenue recognition compliance (ASC 606) and royalty accounting/reporting
- Maintain customer and product attribute data used across analytics and reporting
- Deliver business analytics and performance-analysis (PA) reporting to management
- Partner with Sales, the Corporate Controller, and CFO on ad hoc financial modeling and special projects
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI/reporting tools
- ERP system experience (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Epicor) required
- Strong communication skills with ability to present findings to leadership
- High attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets
Preferred:
- CRM platform experience (e.g., Salesforce)
- Manufacturing or industrial industry background
- CMA or progress toward CPA/CMA certification
