- Category purchasing
- Ensure correct and timely maintenance of master data and workflows in all relevant systems. -Handles program related material quotation - samples and toolings to meet new program milestone. -Support Category lead buyer to conduct continuously market screenings and benchmarking. -Support to qualify new suppliers in collaboration with category strategy. -Support product Change Requests and End of Life ramp-down activities at the component level.
- Price change management -Invoice management checking and confirming price and maintaining price data. -Record and update price increase/decrease with price tracking file.
- Critical parts management -Regular spot market check of all critical materials in shortage. -Handles spot buy RFQs & negotiate T/Cs with spot market dealers/distributors. Summarize spot buy information and drive for decision. -Closely track & control spot buyer spend to meet purchasing budget. -Maintain & update spot buyer dealer & distributor AVL list in line with category strategy. 4 Other tasks assigned by category leader buyer.
- Bachelor degree or above,
- Strong English skills in speech and writing, able to negotiate in English
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness.
