Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, source, and procure bakery, packaging items and logistics (3PL management), while ensuring optimization of both cost and quality. Secure favorable total cost of ownership (TCO) outcomes.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards and expectations. Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Market Research & Industry Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and stay updated on industry trends to uncover new sourcing opportunities and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Sourcing Strategy Development: Develop and execute procurement strategies for packaging materials (cartons, cups, wraps, reusable package, etc.) and logistics services (transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding).
- Procurement Compliance: Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role.
- Strong expertise in logistics, direct sourcing, and procurement processes.
- Proven track record of driving cost savings and ensuring supply continuity.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Solid understanding of financial and cost management within supply chain operations.
