About Our Team

We are hiring an Assistant Cost Manager to work in Lenovo’s Cloud Service Provider Group (CSP). CSP is a fast-paced customer-centric organization that adapts to changing market demands to serve customer needs.

This individual will support key CSP customers to drive cost optimization and build the cost structure and cost forecast in the product definition and development stage.

Location: Morrisville, NC (hybrid, 3 days on-site/2 days remote)

What You'll Do

  • Develop cost estimation cost balance sheet
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive design for cost initiatives
  • Align cost structure and cost target with PMs, RD and procurement team
  • Cost control including build forecast and reporting
  • Take part into commercial bid and support contract pricing when required
  • Drive special cost support with vendors for high volume opportunities
  • Rebate claim final cost settlement change
  • Participate in (Offering Delivery Team) ODT committee, closely communicate, coordinate, and align with cross-functional team

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Analytics, or an Engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of project cost controlling experience and experience in SAP

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation skills
  • International company experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams
