The City of Bothell is seeking a Management Analyst to support the Community Development Department by advancing key projects, improving processes, and enhancing operational effectiveness. This role will focus on project coordination, grant management, budgeting, data analysis, and performance reporting to help drive informed decisions.

- Typical schedule will be a 5/8s schedule
- Note: This position will initially require onsite work for up to the first six months, with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule thereafter. The department is committed to supporting work-life balance through a flexible hybrid work arrangement, which includes one designated work-from-home day per week or as operationally appropriate.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate programs, projects, grants, and operational initiatives across all divisions within the Community Development Department.
- Provide analytical support for long-range and current planning initiatives, including Comprehensive Plan updates and implementation efforts.
- Analyze and report on land use, housing, and development trends by developing performance metrics, tracking key indicators, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure accurate financial reporting, budget monitoring, and grant/project expenditure tracking.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and opportunities, coordinate with stakeholders, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
- Ensure clear and efficient communication of information and ideas through diverse communication channels.
- Apply objective reasoning and action, maintaining perspective when evaluating both qualitative and quantitative information.
- Manage time and resources efficiently to complete work tasks.
- Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence by effectively understanding others and leveraging interpersonal skills, including empathy, humility, and patience, to foster meaningful interactions.

- The City is comprised of 13.6 square miles within both King and Snohomish Counties and is home to 51,760 people (2025). This figure is projected to grow to nearly 75,000 over the next 20 years in tandem with Bothell’s increasingly vibrant downtown and life sciences employment cluster near the I-405 corridor.
