Project Info
ACCIONA leads the Alkimos SeaWater Alliance, delivering Perth's new desalination plant with Water Corporation and Jacobs. The AU$2.8 billion program will supply drinking water to millions of Western Australians from 2028, addressing declining rainfall and rapid population growth across Perth's north.

About Opportunity
The Contracts Administrator will support the Project Manager to implement and improve procurement and commercial processes on the Alkimos project, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You'll manage the upstream and downstream contractual aspects of the project, including subcontract creation, negotiation and administration. Working closely with operations, finance and legal teams, you'll protect ACCIONA's contractual rights and help manage commercial risk across the project lifecycle.

Key accountabilities for the position will be:

  • Manage subcontract creation, negotiation and administration
  • Assess contract terms, obligations and amendments
  • Monitor contract performance and resolve disputes
  • Analyse commercial risk to protect and maximise revenue
  • Support sourcing strategy and procurement processes
  • Track compliance and address deviations or breaches
  • Report on supplier performance and cost data

Qualification and Competencies:

  • Proven experience in a similar contracts role
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Commerce
  • Practical experience with finance systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
