Role Description
Serves as contract primary contact for contract administration responsibilities throughout the contract life cycle for various contract types and arrangements. Collaborate with teams on the preparation of proposals, contract negotiation, reporting requirements, change orders and contract closeout procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals and customer correspondence in accordance with commercial and Government requirements. Review and negotiate terms and conditions applicable to orders and other services provided by North Wind. Review and execute non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, certifications, and other contract related documents.
- Manage compliance areas and requirements in accordance with federal regulations per FAR and DFAR. Manage contract reporting and associated plans including financial reporting, small business plans and government property system. Provide contract closeout and financial documents.
- Manage contract milestones and deliverables to ensure all contract commitments are achieved. Oversee government delivery requirements as well as commercial and foreign regulations. Analyze and apply controls including CUI and U.S. export laws and regulations, including EAR and ITAR.
- Provide guidance and support related to contract requirements to cross functional areas. Manage multiple critical internal and external deadlines, including short-turn requirements. Maintain company training programs for employee contract compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline;
- 5+ years of related discipline;
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
- Experience with full life-cycle government and commercial contract management and contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.)
- Familiarity with government contracts, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Working knowledge of U.S. Export Control and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Excellent business judgment and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
The salary range provided is a general guideline. Actual pay will depend on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and other applicable qualifications. North Wind is committed to pay transparency in compliance with applicable state and local laws.
