Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Contract Development and Management
- Review plant requirements and statements of work (SOWs) to identify potential suppliers and contractors.
- Create, review, and negotiate service agreements and purchase orders to ensure all contract language accurately reflects the scope, requirements, deliverables, performance metrics, pricing, schedule and terms and conditions appropriately.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with company contract procedures prior to issuance.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure requirements are being met and provide risk mitigation actions as necessary.
- Project Management
- Lead and support procurement related projects including the sourcing of goods, services, outplant and CAPEX, cost reduction initiatives, supplier growth strategies and supplier onboarding.
- Coordinate with cross functional team stakeholders to define project timeliness, manage deliverables and provide action plans to eliminate project delay.
- Process Control and Compliance
- Identify inefficiencies with procurement processes across the Segment and implement solutions to reduce process waste, improve cost effectiveness, and maintain a high level of compliance with procurement and financial procedures.
- Multi-Site Support
- Provide direct support to Segment plants to resolve procurement operational challenges and to ensure a consistent and high level of execution.
- At times, provide backup executional support of plants including, but not limited to the issuance of RFQs, placement of purchase orders, reconciliation of invoices, and other as needed administrative tasks.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a Procurement or Contract Development/Management within procurement, required.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in ORACLE, or similar type Enterprise Business Systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items
- Experience in a manufacturing setting highly desired
- Prior experience managing capital expenditures (CAPEX) is a plus
- Experience working with Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Excel and Word.
- Willingness to frequently visit plant’s shop floor for better understanding of operations
- Customer-oriented personality.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform metrics and reports on various data collections.
