Purpose of the position: As Project Cost Engineer you will be part of the Project Control and Project Risk management within the scope to ensure an accurate, timely and value added analysis and reporting on project. You will support to the effective running of projects and comprises responsibility for, but not limited to cost performance status reporting. The role ensures the provision of all Cost Control functionality on the project including budget set up, updates and monitoring, change management, variation estimating, cost reporting, risk contingency and management as well as all forecasting activities. The role reports directly to Project Cost Manager, functionally and to Project Control Manager and/or Cost Controller Coordinator, directly, depending on the scale of the project.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand the Project Contract and Scope of Work for preparing the Project Cost Breakdown structure.
- Collect and analyze all project costs (actual, committed and estimate to complete) for forecast purpose and accruals calculation.
- Ensure in-depth analysis and reporting of variances on a periodic basis.
- Produce short and long-term cash flow projections continuously and timely.
- Participate in estimating Variation Orders and implement validated budgets into the cost control system.
Experience: 2 - 5 years project controls experience as a Cost Controller. Understanding of the EPC projects
Languages: Fluent in English
Technical/IT Skills: Experience in working with databases like SAP. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel Advanced)
What else should you know? You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the projects assigned.
