Quantity Surveyor / Contract Manager (Fresh Grad are welcome)

About the job:

We are seeking skilled and driven Quantity Surveyors & Contract Manager (Fresh grad are encourage to apply too!) to join top-tier firms specialising in various fields, including:

• High-Rise / Landed property Construction: Condominium, Hospital, Semi-D
• Infrastructure: Highway, railway, water treatment plant
• Foundation work: Piling, substructure, geotechnical
• Industrial: Factory, Data Centre
• M&E
• Consultant firm

Job Scope may include:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including initial estimates and final costs. Provide accurate advice on cost and procurement strategy throughout the project life cycle.
• Manage the tender process, including preparation of bills of quantities, reviewing contractor bids, and negotiating contracts. Work closely with clients and contractors to ensure cost efficiency.
• Prepares bill of quantities (BoQ) involving quantity take-off, material sourcing, and estimating material and labour costs for tendering.
  
• Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms. Manage any variations or changes to the project scope and evaluate the financial impact.
• Conduct interim valuations and prepare progress payments for contractors and subcontractors. Ensure accurate valuations of completed work for payment certification.
• Provide post-contract cost control and management, including final accounts preparation, settlement of claims, and cost reconciliation.

Skills and experience required:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Able to work independently in office, on site, and visit clients for meeting.
• Good analytic and negotiation skills.
